 Growth Through Stages

In order to promote healing and growth, the Transitional Housing Program has developed stages that the program families will process through.

bullet

Stabilization- Gives the family an opportunity to settle into their new home and begin to modify from their former detrimental lifestyle to a positive, safe, emotional, physical, social and Christian health and well being.

bullet

Foundation Building- Verification of the families’ commitment to the program through dedication and accountability. Families must be willing to establish a new foundation of family values and way of life to begin to build positive principles and life skills.

bullet

Trust- Understand that all the Transitional Housing Programs are prepared to help better their life. Families are challenged to present themselves as positive role models to others.

bullet

Discipleship- Demonstrate a well-balanced family life, positive development in communication style, self-control and core family values by being a role model to other families. Utilize their newly learned skills and show others how they can make positive changes in their lives.

bullet

Partial Exiting Status- Families make plans for their future living independently apart from Jackson Park Ministries.

bullet

Exiting Plan- Completion of the program with the family’s transition into full-time employment, finding childcare and securing housing.

Mentoring Opportunities

“…I have come that they might have life and have it to the full.”

        John  10:10

The Purpose of the mentoring offered to the Transitional Housing Program is to assist the family in leading fuller, healthier, and increasingly Christ centered lives.

Having life to the full has been a seemingly unreachable hope for so many families. Through God’s work in the Transitional Housing Program, that hope can now become a reality.
