After School Programs
Jackson Park Ministries is in its 16th year of providing an afterschool program for at risk elementary school children. It is managed by a North Carolina certified teacher supplemented by dedicated volunteers from CPCC and Charlotte area churches. The schedule is 2:30pm, recreation; 3:00pm, Bible stories and snacks; and 3:30-4:30pm, tutoring and homework assistance. JPM has partnered with the Kennedy Foundation for tutoring students three days per week from 3:00 to 4:30pm.
