Christmas Blessings 2011

As we enter the Christmas season, there is such an awesome feeling in the air. Isn’t it wonderful the way God speaks to our hearts and lets us know that this is such a special time of the year, As we prepare to celebrate the birth of our savior. I pray that our hearts will be full of love for him and each other, that’s what it all about. This is a time for us to draw close to God and one another. Let’s take our minds off of ourselves this Christmas season and focus on Jesus and doing something special for someone else. Let’s call someone we haven’t talked to in a long time. Let’s encourage those that we know are going through a hard ship. Let’s help those who are not able to help themselves. Let’s fellowship together and talk about that first Christmas morning and how great God really is. Let’s not get busy that we forget what Christmas is really all about and miss the joy that God intends to share with us. Amen

Our Christmas outreach in December provides gifts, prayer and hope to those who need it the most. We meet with family at Jackson Park Ministries who live on the Westside of Charlotte. We pray with each family and share the true meaning of Christmas.
